2011 Afternoon Courses



SESSION I: 1:30PM - 2:15PM

Intensive Creative Writing Course (4 weeks: May 31 - June 24, 2011)

An intensive creative writing course designed to stimulate the imagniation of students and strengthen the use of writing as a means of personal expression. The course will also focus on improving vocabulary, spelling, and grammatical skills.



SESSION II: 2:15PM - 3:00PM

Digital Movie Making Course (4 weeks: May 31 - June 24, 2011)

A fun and fast-paced beginners course that introduces young students to the fun of writing, acting, and filming
their own movie. Covering the basics of film making from writing a script, set design, the performance of acting, recording with a digital camera, and the art of computer editing, this course will help bring students closer to the exciting behind the scenes work needed to produce a short film.

Intensive Japanese Language Course for Beginners (June 27 - July 29, 2011)

This introductory Japanese language course will focus on reading, writing, speaking, and exposure to Japanese culture. The course will be taught by a native speaker.
