As a non-profit educational organization, The Renaissance Academy relies on the generous support of individuals and businesses to help us fulfill our mission and programs as well as award scholarships. Supporting the Academy can come in many different forms: financial or material donations, in-kind contributions, scholarship endowment, as well as by becoming a volunteer.
Please read the details below on how you can help:
FINANCIAL OR MATERIAL/GOODS DONATIONS
You can support the Academy, its students, and its programs through a monetary donation, or by donating materials or goods.
Examples of needed materials include:
- Reading books for children and teenagers for the Academy Library
- Computers and educational computer games/software
- Educational board games and puzzles
- Arts and crafts supplies (construction paper, sketch books, crayons and colored pencils, glue, glitter, etc.)

IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS
You can also support the Academy by donating your business services. Businesses have previously donated graphic design services, administrative services, cleaning services, and food and catering services. Please contact the Academy office directly if you or your company may be able to help.
SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT
For as little as $800 a year, you can provide a partial scholarship in your chosen name to a deserving student of the Academy. These scholarships enable students to study in our academic programs year round. Please contact the Academy office directly to find out how you can give a student a chance to expand and fulfill his/her academic potential.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
The Academy always needs volunteers to tutor part-time or to help with office administration. We do ask our volunteers to undergo a training period, and ask for a commitment of 4 hours per week. We are currently seeking mathematics and language arts tutors, as well as an administrative assistant. If you are interested, please contact the Academy office.
